At Revive A Smile we see first hand the effect of poor oral health on the quality of life of and job prospects of at-need Kiwis. Our charity is inundated with applications for help on a daily basis. So we launched a campaign to bring the NZ dental crisis to the attention of policy makers. Our petition to the house of representatives gained over 10,635 signatures and calls for the government to:

1. Subsidise dental care for at-need Kiwis.
2. Increase the age of free dental care to 20 years.

The petition was successfully delivered to parliament with thanks to local MP Hon. David Bennett and is now before the Health Select Committee for consideration.
