Revive a Smile Founder Dr. Assil Russell was chosen out of hundreds of applicants to be a recipient of an AMP National Scholarship . Her "thing" to make dental care accessible to all needy Kiwis by establishing the Revive a Smile mobile dental clinic was recognised at the AMP Awards ceremony. The awards took place at the beautiful Auckland War memorial museum and Langham Hotel. The ceremony was hosted by New Zealand's favourite journalist and TV presenter Hilary Barry.
Thank you to AMP for the honour of being nominated and being chosen as a National Scholarship recipient. Thank you to Dame Roseanne Mao and the panel of Judges (Justine Troy, Shaun, Mike Hutcheson). The support and encouragement by everyone at AMP, the judges and those who attended the ceremony pushes us further to keep working to provide dental aid where it is needed in New Zealand.
